Hello!~
Nothing much going on here. I'm expecting my Monster Hunter Pinky st. pretty soon. Maybe even tomorrow! I ordered the one with all the cool armor and the massive sword-thing with spikes lol. For tonight, before doing my homework, I'm going to find some more Vox and Flickr groups to join so I can interact more with the community while also finding more people with the same hobbies.

I can't get Kanon out of my head, lol. Oprah was talking about how that new movie "Juno" is full of surprises and twists and turns that no one would ever suspect...I felt like telling her to shut up and watch Kanon hahaha. If she wants to compliment a story for having twists and turns, she should give the credit to the real winner, Kanon. She also said she cried and that the movie was so sad because the 16 year old was pregnant. Want to cry Oprah? Watch Kanon 2006! You'll be crying.

Since I take a lot of (rather crappy) pictures of my figurines, and after seeing other people do it, I've decided that I want to use the photos and make random comic stories with them lol. I find it fun and cute and I can't wait until my photography skills improve so that they look nicer. Just made the first comic today called, "The Ship."

I'm so happy today! I bought these three items off ebay two months ago and finally I have them!! YES! The wait was well worth it. <3 The fastest thing I ever got from Japan was my magazines I ordered from Amazon.jp. They came in only 2 days! Though, their shipping did cost me $40 total. =(

So this is what was waiting for me when I got home from school:

I'm still real sad about getting laid off my job. I seriously abused the cash I was getting and would shop online daily. About 2 months ago I ordered tons of stuff from different sellers on Ebay, and from different online stores, and I received a package in the mail every day for a week and a half. (excluding Sunday lol) A week in a half is my longest package delivery streak. I wish I got packages with Japanese toys in them everyday hahaha. So yea, all the money I earned from my job went to fast food, toys, and my girlfriend. But I'll admit that 90% of it went to toys. Now I'm just crushed that there are so many items on my wish list (Pinky St.!!! /cry) that I no longer will be able to buy. My girlfriend is a sweat heart and did buy me another Air plushie to cheer me up though~ <3

haha, Ok! Now to write about what was in my package. For everyone who doesn't know crap about me,  Makoto is my favorite "Kanon" girl and she is just so damn adorable! I'm not a fan of the Kanon plushies (They look nothing like the characters) but I got so damn lucky that the Makoto plushie actually looks like her, and is wearing cute Pajamas! So I just had to buy her no matter what the price was. The only other Kanon plushie I like is her Kitty, which is actually very well made compared to the others, and is soft. Also enchanted with +5 cuteness~

So there they are! So cute! I especially like how Makoto sits since the Air plushies I have don't sit.

Other good news is that the ebay seller I bought a Monster Hunter Pinky st. from messaged me today telling me that my item has been shipped out! Most likely I'll get it before the 19th. So far I own 0 Pinky st. and I ordered this Monster hunter one before I knew what Pinky st. were. Then I found www.Pinky-street.com and became instantly hooked and plan on buying a lot once I get a new job. Reason I bought it was for these reasons:

 how bad-ass the armor is
 how huge the weapon is
 how small and chibi the figure is
 And because I play a lot of MMORPGs and the figure makes me think of MMOs, Flyff in particular. So when I play games I can have her sitting on display as my desk mate.

As for the other Pinkys I buy, they will be more for customizing, playing with, and taking photos of. This Monster Hunter one I bought will spend all its time on my desk or shelf probably. I think I could have maybe gotten it cheaper than $28.  (counting shipping and I did pre-order it) I just didn't look around online good enough.

Sunday flew by fast as usual. Since there is school tomorrow, and I still have homework to do, I'm wishing the time would slow the heck down lol.

Today was the first time I've taken pictures of my figurines. Uploaded about 70 of them to my flickr. my 100mb's of space is already taken up and I don't have the money yet for a pro account. I just got laid off my job a few days ago since apparently they only needed me for the Holidays.

Luckily I pre-ordered my favorite Kanon character figurine before losing my job and all my money. I love my Air figurines but I really think they could have done a better job making them. I see so many beautiful figurines and the Air ones look kind of plain. maybe it's just because the characters aren't really accessorized or something. Although, the Kotobukiya Misuzu is very plain yet I want it sooo badly. It's like the classic Misuzu figurine that is a must have for any Air fan. It also looks closer like her than any other figurine.

So I mentioned how I'm lucky to have pre-ordered my favorite Kanon characters figurine. I'm very excited to see what it looks like  in person because judging from this photo, it's a definite must have!

I call that photo the million dollar shot because it's just perfect and I knew I had to buy it after seeing that photo. funny how I hated Makoto at the beginning of the series because she was annoying and didn't seam cute, then once it went into her arc she became my favorite character and 10000 times cuter. I also cried the most during her arc. I was also going to pre-order this Ayu but now that my job is no more I'm afraid I might miss out! >.< Damn, it's adorable.

My mom showed me her wedding dress which is like 20 years old..it's completely aged and ruined. What used to be pure white is now stained brown. This had me thinking. What will mine and everyone else's PVC figurines look like in 20 years? =( I take mine out of the package and of course they get dusty. I just don't want them to like..get holes in them from the acid of my fingers, or crack from years and years of being exposed to the air and different temperatures, or lose color. I hope I'm over reacting because I've put tons of time and money into finding and buying these figurines, and I really want them to stay the same forever. My oldest figurine is only 2 years old so I wouldn't know from experience. Does anyone reading my blog know what'll happen? And if there are ways to prevent it,

So today I spent all day arranging my figurines in the brightest room in my hours, my older brothers room. I took many pictures which was fun, but I just wish I was a more experience photographer. My pictures lack environment and I don't know how to include that without it looking like crap. Most of my pictures just have a very dark background with the only thing showing being the part of the figurine I'm focusing on. Maybe when I get some Pink st. figurines I'll get to experiment more since I wouldn't take any of my Air figurines outside. I should also try building some sort of interesting set for them. most of those pictures I took were taken on a hard-wood floor.

I look at everyone else's pictures on my Flickr contact list and get jealous of how well theirs looks. =P

Yay, I'm pretty happy about how this blog is looking so far. I couldn't get Cbox to work though, oh well. I guess there is no way of getting rid of the text over my lovely banner huh? Well, then I can at least give it a nice slogan. I'm looking for more ways to customize my blog since by the looks of it, I can't really find many options of customization.  

I finally made a Flickr account and uploaded 4 pictures. The 100mb web space they give you really isn't a lot at all. maybe when I get money I'll upgrade to pro. I'ma mess around with that more after this post.

Speaking of my banner, it's by far my favorite part of this whole blog. I didn't draw it or anything but am so proud of it! LOL it looks perfect to me and so I'm very happy with it. Misuzu is my favorite anime character by the way.

Just made this blog a minute ago. First blog, so I'm new to this and a bit confused. Right now I'm seeing what Vox has to offer and well...need atleast one post on here to see what it looks like. Hmm, I don't really like how there is text over my banner. As of now it says "Jeffs blog." Ahhh...going to try to get rid of that in a second since it looks pretty stupid.
